I am enjoying my time here. Yesterday I went to the Haida Cultural Centre and today I am returning there for a few more things. There is a full moon with an eclipse tonight so Vincent and I are heading for a camping spot on the beach for the night. Tomorrow the north end of the Island and taking an 11pm ferry back to the main land. I could spend a life time here. I want to see it in winter and summer, spring, fall, rain and mist. Alexander says that because it is West, far west in Canada and on the medicine wheel. He says west is internality and endings. It is easy to be internal here.
Here are some pictures from yesterday.
Probably a few days because there is NO internet where I am going.
Each day I look forward to your postings and am entranced by the things you’re seeing and the people you’re meeting . The couch surfing seems to be an ideal way to meet people and get to know the local flavour of their particular surroundings.
I wish I could join you, but thank you for sharing your days.
Love Cathie
You can see why someone could pack up and move here. I have been looking forward to your posts and reliving my wonderful trip to the Queen Charlottes last summer. It truly is a magical place.
I am thrilled that you did not miss this wonderful jewel.
