Thanks to Sue H. a good friend for this:
Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back– Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one’s favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamed would have come his way. Whatever you can do, or dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it. Begin it now. –Goethe
I’m feeling bold right now. Thanks.
Being a relentless procrastinator, I believe I need to read this every morning.
Ingrid from the Write Now days.
I have often been told that I should be commited and maybe they have a point.
I have found it to be true that dreams have the power to propel us on to acheive that which is thought to be beyond us but only if we awake from the dream and work hard at making it a reality. Yet the reality cannot become so all consuming that we lose sight of the dream.
Life always happens in the present tense. Life is this moment and must be appreciated to the fullest for what this moment offers but dreams propel us into the future that we aspire to.
I hope yor future is filled with wonferful moments.
See you soon.
