I am in Prince George again today and am sitting in the air conditioned library. I am going to take advantage of this internet connection. I was in the Fort George Park and here I encountered the Fraser again after my visit to the Science Centre and Museum.
It is beautiful. I have spent time with the map trying to figure out where it comes from, especially after Gail gave me her information. I finally found this link to info about the river. Check it out.
I am off now to get Vincent a bath and fill the tank. Then off into the unknown. Couch Surfers are few and far between, a long weekend is looming and my anxiety factor is kicking in again. I love this journey. It is testing me in so many way’s. Thanks for coming along.
See you next time I have internet.
Isn’t the internet something amazing!!
Hildegard & her husband Eberhard wanted to know how you were doing [I had told my friend about your travels] and E. is VERY interested in everything, you name it and he’s on the computer looking it up. He has been reading the weekly St.Marys Independent – can you believe that? And for a man his age [our generation] he’s a computer-whiz!! So when he asked if I could give him your “blog”, I did – no harm in that, is there? I see you guys are writing back and frorth – great.
Saski [the grand daughter] is coming in Sept. with a friend on a tour of Canada; send me or Eberhard the “couch-surfing” web site – maybe it would help her.
Take care
Love Mom
the site is http://www.couchsurfing.org and if you are not surfing you should be hosting. It is world wide and the best way to orient yourself in a new place.
